Well...I had hoped this blog would help me and others that wanted to slowly get healthy.   I was wanting to encourage and be encouraged but, judging by the lack of comments, apparently it is not having its desired effect.  I will be continuing on the wimps road to healthy living, but not continuing the blog.  To any of you that have read...thanks!  I pray that you will persist on the journey and enjoy the benefits.

7,000 steps!  It may not sound like much, but that's how many I did yesterday.  I have been averaging between 5,000-6,000/school day so my goal for February is 7,000 each week day. My ultimate goal is 10,000/school day, knowing myself, I am starting with 7,000.
The girls in my class this year are at least as good at holding me accountable as my group last year!  The ask me all the time how many steps I've taken.  It is exactly what I need!

January 1, 2013-A new year once again!  I'm still a wimp on the wimps road to healthy living.  Still a wimp, but still pressing on.  Last year, I lost 18 pounds, did 20 sit-ups & push-ups every weekday morning, took more steps and drank more water.  I didn't accomplish all of the goals I had set for myself, but I did achieve some and am enjoying the results of those.  So this year, I will still be working on the thing that has caused me the most trouble-exercise!  If you have suggestions for taking baby steps toward making exercise a habit, I would really appreciate your help.
So...how did you do this past year?  Were you able to attain some of your goals?  What will you be working on this year?  Let me know so we can encourage and hold each other accountable.
